About RATS
Rally and Track Services Inc. (RATS) is a group of dedicated volunteers who provide a range of professional skills to support the organisation of premier motorsport events in New Zealand. RATS undertakes a wide variety of tasks for motorsport events at all levels from high profile international events down to club race days. Our current activities include :
Rally NZ (WRC and Asia Pacific rounds)
- Organising, supervising and coordinating Service Parks
- Team liaison with WRC (World Rally Championship) teams
- Team liaison with Group N Rally World Production teams
- Crowd management in Service Parks
- Providing a Stage Start Timing Crew
Motorsport NZ
Pit-Lane supervision and Start Line operation at Pukekohe and Hampton Downs for
- NZV8 race meetings
- Endurance races
- Tier 1 and 2 race meetings
- HRC Festival and Revival race meetings
- Other National level race meetings
- ACC, HRC and other club level race meetings
Australian V8 Supercars (at the ITM400 in Hamilton)
- Pit Lane co-ordination and supervision
- Start line management
- Crowd management in Pit Lane
